Mapping using Drones and Satellite Imagery

We use precision photogrammetry technology to create Digital Elevation Model and Digital Surface Models from scratch. For mapping in high resolution, we deploy drones to capture stereo images in less than 5 cm resolution. Data processing is done using advanced tools. We process data in various formats, so the data can be shared across various platforms. Large land parcels are mapped using both Satellite imagery and Drones depending on the data needs of our clients. We process the raw data and then convert the same into vector format for further use in GIS.

Our mapping services using UAV (Unmanned Areal Vehicles) help us to generate data in the following formats...

  • Geo-Referenced Orth mosaic stereo images of 5 cm / pixel resolution & relative accuracy up to 10 cm of project area.

  • Geo referenced 3D point cloud (32 bit real) with real texture and relative accuracy within 10 cm in all three axes and point density 100 point per square meter.  Point cloud data to be submitted in PIX4D file format.

  • Digital Surface Model.

  • Digital Terrain Model with (30 cm x 30 cm).

  • Contour Map with 0.5 m contour interval with vertical accuracy + 0.01 m.

  • Horizontal accuracy 15 cm Circular Error Probable (CEP).

  • L-section for 2nd and higher orders of drains.

Specifications of Hardware and Software

  • Phantom 4 pro drones

  • Data processing Pix4D, Agisoft and Erdas Imagin

  • GIS processing in ArcGIS

  • Sensor Specification: 1-inch 20-megapixel sensor and has a manually adjustable aperture from F2.8 to F11. recoding in UHD 4K (4096X2160) at 60fps, at a maximum bitrate of 100Mbps using the H.264 codec and supports H.265.

  • Data processing on 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 or Xeon® E3 v6

For Drone mapping we use state of the art Phantom 5 Pro for precision mapping. We are capable of deploying 6 drones concurrently for quick capture and data processing.

We also create maps by the process of vectorization. Both automatic and semi automatic vectorization techniques are used to create the most accurate maps.

Survey

We employ large field force for survey, be it agriculture mapping, or generation or collection of user data for various domains. We offer these services with Geo-tagging so that the location based data is never lost. We use both GPS and DGPS for survey based on the accuracy need of our clients.

No matter what your mapping needs are and the scale of the map required, we can help by suggesting the best practices that can be employed for the best map creation and we can do it all as a one-stop-shop. You can also view our quick selection matrix below for more insights...
